First, that’s awesome!! Second, contact me to see if I’m available on your wedding date. Once we’ve discussed everything and I receive all the additional info needed for the agreement, you will receive an email link to your contract that you can digitally sign. Your retainer secures my services for your wedding date; payment must be processed at the time of signing by credit card, through an electronic invoice (recommended to secure your date promptly), or by mailing a personal check/certified bank check to the address stated on the contract. The signed contract and retainer must be completed and received to hold and secure your date.

I am available to travel throughout New England, the U.S., and beyond. Although the majority of my weddings are in the Northeastern United States, I’ve been fortunate to have photographed weddings as far as Oregon, California, Louisiana, England, and Ireland. Depending on distance, travel fees and accommodations may also apply.
Yes, I am fully insured through Hill & Usher. If your wedding venue requires that I provide them with a Certificate of Liability, please let me know at least 30-60 days before the wedding date so I can have one sent to the coordinator at your venue. Regardless of who you hire, make sure they are fully insured.
I primarily use Canon R6 MKII’s. I always have another camera ready to go in case of any technical failure. My cameras have dual card slots that automatically duplicate every image I photograph to a second card. I also photograph with multiple Canon L series lenses, speedlites (used when necessary), and other nifty gadgets.
There is no magic number, but for a full day of coverage, the average delivery is around 500-600 (sometimes more!) hi-res .jpg images, whatever it takes to tell your story, as quality is of the utmost importance. Hi-res .jpg photos are available via digital download in your online wedding gallery; the gallery also serves as a backup for a limited time. Your images will include rights for personal printing/usage.
If anything happens to me that’s beyond my control (illness, family emergency, etc.), I have a great network of professional photographers that I can reach out to at a moment’s notice to get coverage for your wedding day. If you request a second photographer to photograph with me for the day, they can take over for me immediately if any emergency arises. Note: All second photographers I work with are professional wedding photographers with a similar style.
One of my favorite and most essential things is telling the story of your wedding day. I want you to have a unique collection of photographs true to yourselves and the day’s natural flow. By trying to replicate photographs, we risk affecting the telling of your story. Think about how sweet it’d be if someone pinned one of YOUR photographs for inspiration, though!
That is totally cool, as long as they don’t interfere with me documenting your wedding and as long as another professional photographer or wedding vendor is not taking the photos. If any of your wedding day vendors are interested in using some of the photos, I’ll gladly speak with them. Just send them my way. If you’re interested in having an “Unplugged Ceremony,” just let me know, and we can discuss the pros and cons. But trust me, it’s mostly pros.
