Ariana & John {Provincetown Wedding}
So before I get into this post a bit, I want to explain the most bizarre coincidence that began the very moment Ariana and John’s ceremony started at Race Point Beach, Provincetown, MA. Something Mother Nature provided the perfect recipe of time, humidity and temperature for. Recipe for what, you ask? The Nuptial Flight. Read up, before you continue on. Those are not dust spots on my sensor or a dirty lens. Those are thousands of flying ants mating mid-flight as Ariana and John said their vows. Sure, everyone was flailing their arm around like dancing muppets, but they carried on with the ceremony. It wasn’t as distressing as you’d expect…as long as you kept your mouth closed.
So enough about the ant orgy; let’s get back to Ariana and John. After the ceremony, we drove as far away to the dunes on the opposite side of the infested beach for lively photos of this wonderful duo. The reception at the quaint Ceraldi, in Wellfleet, MA, was chosen for their delicious, locally harvested fare and intimate atmosphere. Good times were shared with family and friends.
Sure, I had to peel ant wings off my arms and vacuum out my camera bag at days end, but I loved working with these two. Thanks for having me on your interesting, beautiful day!
